Mental models for A-Level Psychology, AP Psychology, and IB DP Psychology.
Psychology: Big Ideas distils the discipline to eight foundational ideas that every advanced psychology student must own. Across eleven articles, the collection moves from the biological basis of all mental processes through the reconstructive nature of memory, the dominance of unconscious cognition, the power of situations over personality, the evolutionary origins of psychological mechanisms, gene-environment interaction in development, multiple determination of behaviour, and the evidential standards that psychological claims must meet. Three synthesis articles address the most commonly missed disciplinary ideas, the expert psychological worldview, and a ten-claim compression of the full framework.

“Eight ideas that turn a catalogue of psychology studies into a way of thinking”
This collection organises psychology around the commitments that make the discipline work: the brain as the organ of mind, reconstructive memory, situational power, gene-environment interaction and evidential standards. Its distinctive strength is the synthesis section, which turns replication, multiple causation and cultural scope into habits of evaluation that transfer to exams and the news.
Gocademy builds curriculum collections that turn subject demands into durable learning habits. The editorial voice is precise, conceptual, and focused on transfer rather than memorised procedures.
