Markets, instruments, institutions, and risk logic for IFO preparation
This International Finance Olympiad issue builds the foundation for reading financial markets as systems of capital allocation, price discovery, liquidity, risk transfer, and trust. It covers money and capital markets, stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, central banks, bank runs, yield curves, tokenized money, stablecoins, AI in finance, and calculation-style contest challenges. The collection is designed as both olympiad preparation material and a source pool for original finance questions.

“A finance-foundations issue built for contest reasoning, not term memorization.”
This collection gives IFO students a precise first map of markets, instruments, institutions, charts, risks, and frontier finance. Its strength is the repeated movement from definition to mechanism: cash flows, valuation logic, participant incentives, and the limitation that changes the answer.
LearningFirst's International Finance Olympiad line builds contest-oriented finance materials for students who need both conceptual clarity and quantitative reasoning. The editorial stance is mechanism-first: every topic should connect definitions to cash flows, incentives, risk, and evidence.
