This issue of Environmental Science Digest builds a contest-grade view of water systems and aquatic life. The articles treat water as flow, storage, chemistry, ecology, infrastructure, and governance at once: rivers move sediment and risk, aquifers respond slowly to pressure, nutrients reshape oxygen budgets, wetlands function as living infrastructure, and water solutions succeed only inside clear physical and social boundaries.
